Why do we need Measure D?

Every student deserves a quality education in a school that’s built for learning.Measure D will help provide safe campuses, repair aging classrooms, and expand hands‐on career training opportunities. Because of NUSDs’strong fiscal stewardship, Measure D will not raise your tax rate.

How Measure D Funds Will Be Used

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this money stay local?

Measure D is a fully local measure, and all proceeds will remain in the Natomas Unified School District, and cannot be redirected elsewhere.

Why isn’t Natomas Unified School District using money from the regular school budget for the projects?

California’s school operating budget has no dedicated funding for school modernization and construction. The only avenue for these projects is State and local bond funding.

Are we eligible for additional state funding if Measure D passes?

Yes. A local bond may correctly position the District to apply for State matching funds through the California School Facility Program.

When can I vote on Measure D?

The measure is on the November 3rd, 2026 ballot.
